The Berlusconi media group MFE-Mediaset's profit more than doubled last year, Managing Director and Chairman Pier Silvio Berlusconi said Wednesday.
    In 2024, MFE-Mediaset recorded a profit of €138 million, Berlusconi recalled in a press briefing at the Mediaset headquarters in Cologno Monzese near Milan.
    "We knew 2025 would be an extraordinary year, but if you had told me this result at the beginning of the year, I wouldn't have believed it: we close the financial year on April 15th and I can't say more," explained the CEO and president of MFE.
    "The bottom line is the most important, and I'm still pleased to be able to tell you that considering everything—that is, the operating result, all valuations and write-downs, and all one-off items—the group achieved more than doubled profits," concluded Berlusconi.
    Mediaset is Italy's biggest private TV group with three commercial channels.
