The Construction Materials Price Index recorded an increase in February 2026, both on an annual and monthly basis, according to data released on Wednesday by the Statistical Service of Cyprus.

The index reached 119.28 units (base year 2021=100), marking an increase of 0.33% compared to January 2026. On an annual basis, compared to February 2025, the index rose by 0.60%.

By main product category, the largest increases were recorded in electromechanical goods (2.27%), products of wood, insulation materials, chemicals and plastics (1.64%), and minerals (0.94%). In contrast, decreases were observed in metal products (-0.45%) and mineral products (-0.08%).

For the period January – February 2026, the index recorded an increase of 0.84% compared to the corresponding period of 2025.
