NNA - Jordanian Ambassador Walid Al-Hadid on Thursday said a Jordanian relief convoy arrived at Rayak Air Base carrying humanitarian assistance for Lebanon, in implementation of directives from Abdullah II.

The convoy included 25 trucks belonging to the Jordanian Armed Forces – Arab Army.

It was received by Higher Relief Commission Secretary-General Brigadier General Bassam Nabulsi and Rayak Air Base commander Colonel Wissam Bshara, who expressed appreciation to King Abdullah II for Jordan’s continued support for Lebanon.

Ambassador Al-Hadid said he attended the reception alongside First Secretary Mohammad Al-Mahadeen.
