Taranto, 9 March 2026 – The Organizing Committee of the Mediterranean Games Taranto 2026 has unveiled the “Look of the Games”, the visual identity that will accompany the narrative of the event and shape its image across competition venues, urban spaces and all official materials.

The Mediterranean Games represent far more than a sporting competition: they are a space for meeting and dialogue among countries that share a millennia-old history and a common cultural heritage. In this context, Taranto renews its historic role as a crossroads of the Mediterranean, a city that welcomes those who arrive by sea and embraces them.

The visual language is built on fluid, dynamic and organic forms that move apart and come together in a harmonious and continuous motion. The concept draws inspiration from Futurism, reinterpreted in a contemporary way to express energy, movement and a forward-looking momentum.

The visual evokes the flow of water, a central element in the identity of the Games. The sea becomes both metaphor and space of connection, capable of bringing together peoples, cultures and generations along the shores of the Mediterranean.

The colour palette reflects the identity of Taranto: the blue and red of the city, the azure of the sea, and the warm tones of the Mediterranean sun. White becomes an open space of exchange, a non-colour that welcomes and unites, creating balance and lightness within the composition.

Completing the visual system is the motto “Embrace the Future”, which captures the vision of the Games: looking to the future through sport, cooperation among Mediterranean countries and the active role of new generations.

The Look of the Games will accompany the journey towards 2026 and help make the identity of the event immediately recognizable, transforming Taranto and the host cities into a shared visual landscape, capable of telling the story of the Mediterranean as a place of encounter, energy and future.
