The Games celebrate both competition and cooperation,

bringing together different peoples within a shared

THE EMBLEM OF AN ENCOUNTER.

The logo of the Taranto 2026 Mediterranean Games stems

from the deep bond between the city and its sea.

The two Xs, the Roman numeral identifying the twentieth

edition, echo the profile of the Monument to the Sailor, an

iconic symbol of Taranto and an ideal bridge between the

peoples of the Mediterranean.

Their encounter tells the story of a union between different

cultures and represents the values of peace, solidarity and

dialogue that look towards the future with a shared spirit.

KEY VISUAL

MEDITERRANEAN IN MOVEMENT.

Fluid and dynamic shapes move through space in a

continuous and harmonious rhythm.

The Key Visual of Taranto 2026 echoes the movement

of water and the energy of the Mediterranean.

Shades of red and blue interact with the sun’s warm

reflections, on a white background that becomes a symbol

of connection and sharing.

Two visual languages express the essence of the Games.

Soft shapes recall the sea and the movement of water,

a vital element of Mediterranean culture.

Colour variants dedicated to land and sea sports create

a dynamic system capable of uniting different disciplines

under a single identity.

MASCOTS

ENERGY AND HOSPITALITY.

Ionios, the official mascot of the Games, embodies the

spirit of the event: energy, hospitality and Mediterranean

identity.

It is a symbol able to engage the public, celebrate the

territory and bring new generations closer to the values

of sport and sharing.

TOGETHER TOWARDS THE FUTURE.

The motto “Embrace the Future” expresses the vision of the

Taranto 2026 Mediterranean Games: embracing the future
