TIRANA, February 24/ATA/ With 71 destinations in 21 countries, Tirana International Airport (TIA) handled over 721,000 passengers and 4,238 flights during January.

According to TIA data, the five most sought-after destinations during January were: Milan, London, Rome, Pisa and Venice.

TIA remains Albania’s main air gateway, offering more travel options to an ever-increasing number of passengers.

According to statistics provided from the Airports Council International, TIA had 11.6 million passengers in 2025, marking an increase of 8.7% compared to 2024.

In 2025, TIA expanded its network by adding 15 new destinations and 7 airline partnerships. /j.p/p.s./
