Lusa - Business News - Portugal: Two weekly flights established to/from Angola - Government

Luanda,April.21,2021(Lusa)-The secretary of state for the Portuguese communities on Wednesday said in Luanda that an agreement between the governments of Angola and Portugal establishes two flights per week between the two countries.
Berta Nunes, who ended a five-day visit to Angola on Wednesday, said that the concern about the reduction of three weekly flights to one was raised during a meeting with the Portuguese community in Luanda, having made it clear that this was a reciprocal agreement.
"TAAG has one flight per week, TAP has one flight per week, this is also an agreement between governments because they have to be authorised at government level," said Berta Nunes.
She stressed that she wanted the flights to be more frequent, but that it was necessary to take the pandemic into account.
"The concern is of the governments of both countries and will have to be progressive. Portugal is improving, vaccination is progressing, Angola has also started the vaccination process and we know that only with the advance of this process will there be the necessary security to return to normality," she said.
