ANSA - Inter-Bodo Glimt, Atalanta-Dortmund, Juventus- Galatasaray in UCL playoffs

Draw in Nyon for battles for places in last 16

Inter got Norwegians Bodo Glimt in Friday's draw at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon for the Champions League playoffs, while Atalanta will battle Germans Borussia Dortmund for a place in the last 16 and Juventus will face Turkish champions Galatasaray.

The three teams failed to finish in the top eight of the league stage of the competition, which would have guaranteed them a place directly in the last 16.

Serie A champions Napoli failed to progress at all after losing 3-2 to Chelsea on Wednesday and finishing outside the top 24.
The playoff ties will be played on February 17/18 and 24/25.
"An environment like Dortmund brings out the best in the team," Atalanta General Manager Umberto Marino told Sky "We often do well on stages like this.
"They're a team with European experience and major technical qualities.
"You have to give 120% against these great teams".
Former Italy and Juve captain Giorgio Chiellini, who is now an executive for the Turin giants, said facing Galatasaray will be an opportunity to avenge the Turks knocking them out in the last 32 of the competition in 2013.
"(When the draw came out) I thought about (Galatasaray's Nigeria forward Victor) Osimhen and the fact that they are a strong team with great individuals," Chiellini told Sky.
"We will have to be good at exploiting their weaknesses and limiting their potential.
"It's also a good opportunity to change that bad memory in Istanbul when I made the decisive mistake, but a lot of time has passed".
In the Europa League playoffs, Bologna will face Norwegian side il Brann.
AS Roma qualified directly for the last 16 after finishing eighth in the league stage.
