Inter consolidated their position at the top of Serie A by beating relegation-threatened Lecce 1-0 on Wednesday thanks to a late goal by substitute striker Pio Esposito.
    Cristian Chivu's side have 46 points from 20 games, six more than second-placed AC Milan, who visit sixth-placed Como on Thursday.
    Champions Napoli, who were held to a goalless draw at home by Parma on Wednesday, also have 40 points in third place.
