NNA - Beirut Airport - Preparations have been completed at the VIP terminal of Rafik Hariri International Airport - Beirut in preparation for receiving Pope Leo XIV.

Decorated with the unique "narcissus" flowers and olive trees, and covered with red carpet and large tents, the VIP building, platform and welcoming area are ready to receive the Pope and President General Joseph Aoun in a symbol of hope and renewal.

A large number of Lebanese and international media personnel will be at the airport arrival area to cover the Pope's welcome this afternoon.
