There has been a growing interest in this archaeological site and part of the most important of our cultural heritage. Every day, there are hundreds of local visitors and visitors of different nationalities who enjoy what this archaeological park has to offer. Visitors to this park, in addition to the ancient city of Apolonia and its monuments, can also see other objects located in the museum inside the park. This archaeological museum is among the richest in the country, with unique objects not only for Albania, but also beyond it.

The museum is located in a medieval monastery dating back to the late 12th century, which in itself is a museum complex among objects and monuments.

The museum is one of the most important arteries of the National Archaeological Park of Apollonia not only for visitors, but also for archeological researchers.

This museum was first opened in 1957. Its objects, about 1000 original objects, are exhibited chronologically. They are among the most representative, according to typologies, and tell the history of Apolonia from prehistory to the fall of the city and its abandonment. /e.r/a.f/r.e/p.s./
