Tunis, Oct. 27 (TAP) - The Greenov’i project, financed by the European Union and implemented by Expertise France has launched its second Call for Expressions of Interest (CEI) “GreenAssist”, aimed at offering free in-depth environmental diagnostics to 50 eligible Tunisian SMEs and artisans.
This scheme aims to support them in their ecological transition and constitutes a mandatory step to access the “GreenBoost” programme, which offers grants of up to twenty thousand euros (68,496 dinars).
According to the website dedicated to this initiative, applications must be submitted online at (http://www.greenovi.tn) before November 17, 2025.
The diagnostics, carried out by specialized consulting offices, will cover three areas: waste management (Lot 1), energy management (Lot 2), and water management (Lot 3).
To be eligible, companies must be registered in the National Business Register, operate in an industrial sector (agri-food, textile, materials, etc.), have 1 to 199 employees, be active for at least three years, demonstrate fiscal and social compliance and commit to co-financing a future transition project.
Excluded are service companies, those in the chemical or pharmaceutical sectors, as well as subsidiaries of international groups.
As part of this initiative, free information sessions are organized online and in five Tunisian cities (Tunis, Monastir, Mannouba, Sousse, Sfax) from October 23 to November 7, 2025.
They will allow participants to discover the modalities of the scheme and the advantages of the Green Vouchers programme.
With a budget of 12 million euros over five years, the Greenov’i project supports the creation of eco-companies and the adoption of sustainable production methods in Tunisia.
It is part of the European Union “Green & Sustainable Tunisia” programme and is implemented in collaboration with CITET Tunisia, the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Economy and Planning.
