Christian, a singer who had a string of hits in the early 1980s and was often called the Italian Julio Iglesias due to his similar style to the Spanish music legend, has died at the age of 82, sources said Friday.
    The Palermo-born artist sold millions of record after his 1980 breakthrough hit 'Daniela'.
    He came third at the 1984 Sanremo Music Festival with another of his most popular songs, 'Cara'.
