ALGIERS- The third Green Impact Bootcamp was launched Tuesday in Algiers under the slogan "Building a green economy through collective intelligence," with the participation of Algerian and African start-ups and project leaders.
Organized by the digital incubator DZ HADINA TECH, under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy and Renewable Energy and the Ministry of Hydrocarbons and Mines, in coordination with the Ministry of Knowledge Economy, Start-ups and Micro-Enterprises and the Ministry of Environment and Quality of Life, the three-day event includes training workshops led by experts, in the presence of several economic partners.
According to Abdelfetah Benamar, the director of HADINA TECH, the main goal of the initiative is to promote green innovation and sustainable entrepreneurship through training, support and mentoring for young people with innovative projects, with a view to integrating them into the national and African market.
"It is also about promoting synergies between large economic enterprises and emerging start-ups, from a sustainable development perspective."
The Bootcamp will conclude with a competition in which around fifteen young innovators will present their projects to a jury of experts and representatives of the relevant ministries and partner companies.
