ATA - Albanian team takes part in NATO’s “Emergency Management Bulgaria 2025” exercise

TIRANA, September 12/ATA/ The Albanian team, consisting of 23 civilian professionals from the National Civil Protection Agency and military personnel from the USAR Unit of the Armed Forces, participated in the complex NATO exercise “Emergency Management Bulgaria 2025”.

Over 1,000 personnel from 18 NATO member and partner countries participated in this exercise from September 8-11 in the city of Montana, Bulgaria.

Director General of the National Civil Protection Agency Haki Çako, the Commander of the South-East Europe Brigade, General Bilbil Bitri, as well as the Commander of the Civil Emergency Support Battalion, Colonel Hajdar Gurra attended the Distinguished Visitors’ Days. The senior leaders observed the Albanian team participating in the exercise.

Equipped with modern equipment, logistical means and operational capacities, they cooperated with teams from other NATO and partner countries, demonstrating national capacities to operate according to the same standards for emergency management.

The participating teams aimed at strengthening their ability to manage complex emergencies in a challenging security environment. /k.s/j.p/p.s./
