Italy's women's volleyball team will be received by President Sergio Mattarella at the Quirinal Palace in Rome on October 8 after they beat Turkey in the final of the world championships in Bangkok on Sunday.
    In doing so coach Julio Velasco team's notched their 36th consecutive victory as they added the world title to the Olympic crown they won last year.
    It is the Azzurre's second world title and comes 23 years after the first.
