ALGIERS- Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sonatrach Rachid Hachichi held, at the group's head office in Algiers, bilateral meetings with managers of international companies participating in the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025), being held from September 4 to 10 in the capital, the group said in a statement.

Hachichi held discussions on Saturday with the Vice President of Sales for the Canadian company SpaceBridge, Jamil Joseph, on the development of bilateral cooperation in the fields of satellite communications and innovative digital solutions to support the energy sector, the statement said.

The Chairman and CEO of Sonatrach also met with the Chairman and CEO of the National Hydrocarbon Company of Mozambique, Ludovina Bernardo.

The meeting was an opportunity to emphasize the strength of relationships between the two companies and explore new opportunities for partnership in the areas of exploration and production.

These meetings are part of Sonatrach's efforts to strengthen African cooperation and forge partnerships based on innovation and exchange of expertise, to develop the energy industry and ensure sustainable energy security.
