Retail sales increased by 0.6% in value and 0.4% in volume in Italy in June compared with May, Istat said on Friday.
    The national statistics agency added that retail sales were up by 1.0% in value terms with respect to June 2024, but down 0.7% in volume year-on-year.
    Compared to June 2024, retail sales rose by 3.4% in large-scale distribution and by 4.1% in online sales, while they fell by 1.7% both in small-scale retail and by 1.9% in non-store sales, Istat said.
