Former Inter Milan coach Andrea Stramaccioni is being hailed a hero after wading into the sea to save two teenagers from drowning while on holiday in Puglia.
The 49-year-old, a TV commentator for State broadcaster Rai, noticed the 17-year-old girl and 19-year-old woman were in difficulty at a bay near Vieste and intervened with a lifeguard.
Afterwards the coast guard gave him the red T-shirt of a lifeguard as a reward.
