Five Italian pictures will be in the running for the Golden Lion at this year's Venice Film Festival, Director Alberto Barbera said on Tuesday.
    It had already been revealed that Oscar-winner Paolo Sorrentino's La Grazia will open the festival, which takes place from August 26 to September 6.
    They four other Italian movies are Leonardo di Costanzo's Elisa, Duse by Pietro Marcello, Franco Maresco's Un Film Fatto per Bene (A Film Done Right) and Gianfranco Rosi's Sotto le Nuvole (Below the Clouds).
    Barbera also announced that Julia Roberts will be at the world's oldest cinema festival for the first time this year.
    She will be presenting Luca Guadagnino's After The Hunt, in which she plays a lecturer at an Ivy League University who defends a colleague accused of sexually abusing a student.
