Italy's strategy for quantum technologies has been launched, the interministerial committee for the digital transition said Thursday.
    The panel has given the green light to the plan developed over the past year by research and institutional figures.
    The plan aims to usher in development in a cutting-edge sector expected to have rapid growth and significant impact, from industrial sectors to education and national security.
    For the Minister of Universities and Research Anna Maria Bernini, thanks to this plan, "Italy is leading an epochal transformation."
