TIRANA, June 18/ATA/ Singer Jenny Berggren, former lead singer in the Swedish pop band “Ace of Base”, electrified last evening the art-lovers of the capital Tirana giving a concert at the “Skanderbeg” square.
The concert was organized in context of the Swedish Culture Week. Berggren performed the well-known songs of the group “Ace of Base”, such as “All that she wants”, “Don’t turn around”, “Angel Eyes, Angel of Love”, “Beautiful Life”, “Change with the Light”, as well as several songs from her repertoire.
The citizens present in the square sang and danced together with Berggren according to the rhythms of the songs, experiencing the nostalgia of the 90s when these songs were massively heard in our country.
Singer Berggren also performed some Albanian songs, which were appreciated by the audience.
“It is my first time in Albania and I have wanted to come for a long time and finally I am here. I have friends who are Albanian and who have even tried to teach me a few words of Albanian. You have a very beautiful language and a beautiful country”, Berggren told the media before the concert.
With legendary hits that have left their trace on generations, Berggren offered an evening of nostalgia and pop party under the open sky of Tirana.
Attending the concert was also Minister of Economy, Culture and Innovation Blendi Gonxhja, Swedish ambassador to our country Elsa Hastad, French ambassador Catherine Suard, etc.
Berggren concert from the legendary band “Ace of Base” is part of the Swedish Cultural Week in our country that comes with various activities.
