The long-term economic impact of the 2027 America's Cup in Naples could potentially add up to 1.2 billion euros, according to a study conducted by the Ministry of Tourism with Luiss Business School which ANSA has had a sneak preview of.
    It said the arrival of sailing's premier competition in Italy for the first time will have a short-term economic impact of around 690 million euros.
    The report said the event is set to attract 1.5-1.7 million visitors.
