Saudi club Al Hilal announced on Thursday that Simone Inzaghi is their new coach after he left Inter following their 5-0 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final on Saturday.
    "The Italian genius is here," Al Hilal said via social media.
    In an interview on the club's website, Inzaghi said his aim was "to win as much as possible, to win trophies, because it is the most important thing, and then I hope to apply my way of playing and make the team play in the best way at football".
    He promised that his side would play with "speed, aggression, and determination".
    His first competitive game in charge will be Al Hilal's Club World Cup 2025 opener against Real Madrid in Miami on June 18.
    Inter won the 2023-24 Serie A title under former Lazio boss Inzaghi.
    They also won two Italian Cups after he arrived in 2021 and reached the Champions League final twice.
