ALGIERS- Sonatrach achieved a remarkable success during its participation in the 29th World Gas Conference, organized from May 19 to 23 in Beijing (China), on the occasion of which it was awarded a prestigious international prize for best practices across the entire value chain, Sonatrach said Sunday in a press release.

The public Group won “the Industry Award for World Gas Conference – Best practices across the entire value chain,” following a presentation given by Nadia Haddoum, project leader within the executive direction in charge of business development and marketing, on “innovative solutions to master drilling instability in wells of carbon reservoirs,” said the press release.

The presentation of Sonatrach’s representative was selected among hundreds of works proposed by several companies from different countries, after a rigorous evaluation conducted by an international reading committee, added the same source.

Haddoum received the certificate and distinctive medal of this prize during the closing ceremony of the Conference on May 23.
