TIRANA, May 18  /ATA/ Last night in Basel, at the Eurovision 2025 stage, Albania was represented by Shkodra Elektronike, which delivered a standout performance of Zjerm, a distinctive composition blending electro-pop sounds with traditional Albanian influences. 

The Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, Blendi Gonxhja, wrote in a social media post  that Shkodra Elektronike captivated audiences everywhere and was voted as one of the most beloved performances of this year's Eurovision. 

"Beatrice and Kolë delivered more than just music—they brought a powerful surge of emotions that resonated with millions of viewers, raising Albanian art to new heights! In our eyes, they are the true champions, as they represented Albania with dignity, passion, and elegance throughout this journey. Bravo! We take great pride in you," stated Gonxhja. 

Austria was declared the winner of Eurovision 2025, while Albania secured 8th place with a total of 218 points, 173 of which came from the public vote.
