ALGIERS- Call for application for the third Jazair Awards, a "prestigious event dedicated to celebrating the global film industry and the artists who make movies" in different categories, is open until May 31st, the event's organizers said.

Open to Algerian and foreign audio-visual productions, this international competition honours the most outstanding filmmakers, technicians, actors and films.

Participants wishing to compete in the Jazair Awards are invited to submit their productions (feature films, shorts, documentaries, series...) via the platform www.jazairawards.org.

The winners will receive their awards in a ceremony scheduled for October 3, according to organizers.

"Beyond recognizing artists, the Jazair Awards aim to be a catalyst for change, supporting the growth of local creative industries, offering a platform for innovation, and contributing to the international export of Algerian culture."
