ORAN – Starting next Saturday, the city of Oran will host the 3rd African Business Fair, featuring representatives from over 20 African countries, according to a statement released Tuesday by the organizers.
According to the same source, this three-day fair organized by the “Sada” agency aims to strengthen continent-wide cooperation and explore partnership opportunities between Algerian companies and their African counterparts.
The event will bring together economic stakeholders from both public and private sectors to boost continental trade and industrial exchanges.
It will further provide a meeting platform for African economic players amid an “international context marked by a struggle for influence over the African market and its natural resources,” the release said, adding that this edition will highlight industry across all sectors, including small, medium and large enterprises.
Beyond the exhibition showcasing industrial and innovation capabilities, bilateral meetings will be organized, giving participants direct networking opportunities to establish strategic partnerships.
These meetings will help strengthen trade and industrial exchanges in various sectors such as agri-food, renewable energy, mining and logistics.
A comprehensive program of conferences and panel discussions is also scheduled, featuring African industry experts. Topics will include the African Continental Free Trade Area, logistical challenges to industrial development and the role of small and medium enterprises in stimulating African industry.
