TIRANA, April 7 /ATA/ The snowfall in the northern and southeastern regions of the country persisted throughout the previous night, though it did not lead to any traffic disruptions.
Temperatures have dropped to as low as -9°C in the mountainous areas.

The Albanian Road Authority reported that snowfall has been recorded in Valbona, as well as on the following roadways: Bogë-Theth, Pukë-Fushë Arrëz-Kalimash, Qafë Mali-Fierzë, Klos-Peshkopi, Kukës-Ura Zapodit, Kukës-Bushtricë, Qafë-Thanë, Boboshticë-Dardhë, and in Voskopojë.

According to the Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH), snowplows have been working to clear the roads of snow and spread salt.

The Albanian Road Authority (ARRSH) advised drivers to be cautious due to moisture on the road, to equip their vehicles with winter tires, and to use chains when traveling on snow-covered routes.
