Jasmine Paolini's run at the US Open stopped in the round of 16 Monday when she was defeated in two sets by Czech Karolina Muchova, who won 6-3 6-3 in an hour and eight minutes, earning her access to the quarter-finals.
    Paolini, 28, won doubles gold at the Paris Olympics with Sara Errani, after losing the Wimbledon final to Czech Barbora Krejcikova.
