Both consumer and business confidence have fallen in Italy this month, Istat said on Wednesday.
    The national statistics agency said its IESI business-climate index shrank from 97.0 in August to 95.9 points, the first fall after three consecutive months of growth.
    It said its consumer-confidence index slid sharply, from 94.5 to 91.2.
