Italy's Kimi Antonelli remained coy about his chances of winning this year's Formula One title after making history at Monza on Sunday by coming from 19th on the grid to become the first home winner of the Italian Grand Prix since 1966.
    The 20-year-old consolidated his lead at that top of the standings in the process.
    With 10 of the season's 23 Grands Prix to go, Antonelli has 267 points, 66 more than his Mercedes team mate George Russell in second.
    Nevertheless Antonelli remains wary of talk of him becoming Italy's first world champion since Alberto Ascari in 1953.
    "There's still a few races to go, so we will try to keep our heads down," he said.
    Italian Formula 1 fans' delight at Antonelli's heroics was tempered by dismay at the display of their beloved Ferraris, with Charles Leclerc crashing out early on and Lewis Hamilton finishing sixth.
