The United States is currently led by incompetents and things will return to normal after Democrats sweep the midterm elections in November, George Clooney said on his arrival at the Venice Film Festival Wednesday where he is picking up a career achievement Golden Lion Wednesday night.
    "It's not easy to live in a country led by the least capable people, said the Hollywood heart throb, 65, on the Lido ahead of the opening night of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival, speaking about his native land without ever mentioning President Donald Trump.
    "The midterm elections are in November, which will certainly be a time to take stock, and if all goes well, we'll return to a more normal situation."
