Istat said Friday that its consumer and business confidence indices were both up this month.
    The national statistics agency said the consumer-confidence index rose from 92.4 in June to 94.2 this month.
    Its IESI business-confidence-climate index went from 95.3 to 95.6.
    Istat said confidence was up in manufacturing and services, but down in construction.
