NNA - Lebanon's First Lady, Mrs. Nehmat Aoun, asserted that the Lebanese people deserve the best care and the best future, saying:  "It is our collective responsibility to ensure that preventative, quality, and accessible healthcare are truly available to every woman, wherever she may be, because dignity begins with the human right to health."

The First Lady's words came during the opening of the "More Than a Woman: A Journey of Health, Healing, and Hope" conference, organized this morning by the Lebanese University Hospital in Geitaoui, in the presence of Labor Minister and a representative of Public Health Minister alongside dignitaries and promiment figures from the medical field.

Aoun considered that investing in women’s health is an investment in the health of the family, in the strength of society, and in the future of the nation, for a healthy woman means a more stable family, a more cohesive society, and a more capable rising Lebanon.

Aoun hoped that the conference will be a space for knowledge, exchanging experiences, and strengthening cooperation for better health for every woman in Lebanon. "Let us continue working together, because building people is the way to building the nation," she empahsized.
