ANSA - Wimbledon: Sinner to face Borges in 2nd round after Kecmanovic scare

World number one had to come from behind twice against Serbian

Italy's world number one Jannik Sinner will face Portugal's Nuno Borges in the second round of Wimbledon after digging deep to start the defence of his title with a 4-6, 6-3, 6-7, 6-2, 6-3 win over Serbian Miomir Kecmanovic on Monday.
Four-time Grand Slam winner Sinner, 24, is looking to retain the title in South West London after suffering a physical collapse with dizziness and fatigue in the heat when on the verge of victory over Argentine Juan Manuel Cerundolo in the second round of the French Open in May.
"I was a little tight in the beginning," Sinner said in his on-court interview.
"I didn't play my very best, but I tried to get into it.
"It was my first official match (this year) on grass.

I'm happy that I turned it around".
