ALGIERS - Algeria will participate as guest of honor at the AGRA 2026 International Fair of Agriculture and Food, set to take place August 22–26 in Gornja Radgona, Slovenia, the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Export Promotion said Sunday in a press release.

One of the premier international events dedicated to agriculture and the agri-food industry, the Fair brings together producers, exporters, investors, agricultural equipment manufacturers, and food industry professionals from around the world, the same source said.

The event will also be a showcase for the latest technologies and innovations in forestry and farm machinery, as well as food processing and packaging equipment, with participation from international companies and brands in these sectors.

Algeria's participation at the Fair will give domestic companies a platform to promote their products, build trade relationships, and explore new opportunities for partnership, investment, and export, while keeping pace with the latest technical and industry developments across European and global markets, according the release.
