Italians Sara Errani and Andrea Vavassori came from behind to beat Canadian Gabriela Dabrowski and American Evan King 4-6 6-3 10-4 on Thursday to retain the French Open mixed doubles title.
"I'm still living this never-ending dream," Errani said after the triumph.
"You're my best friend, Andrea.
Playing with you is so beautiful, it's so much fun to play with, and you're so good.
"See you in a year." Vavassori, who is also in the French Open men's doubles semis with his partner Simone Bolelli, exchanged the compliments.
"You're my best friend, the first person I want to talk to when I lose a match," he said.
"I'm happy to share this journey with you; I don't take it for granted".
Errani and Vavassori also won the US Open together in 2024 and 2025.
Errani has six women's doubles Grand Slam titles too, as well as the 2024 Olympic title she won the Jasmine Paolini.
