Leonardo said Wednesday that it has signed a contract worth around 320 million euros with the EDGE Group's Naval Arm, Abu Dhabi Ship Building (ADSB), to provide next-generation naval combat systems for the Kuwait Navy's 'Al Dorra' missile boat program.
    The Italian defence-and-aerospace giant said the deal strengthens a long-standing partnership with EDGE and ADSB that has already resulted in the delivery of more than 25 naval vessels.
    "Thanks to this latest success, Leonardo with EDGE and ADSB, are positioning a highly advanced 'whole warship management' capability on the international stage, covering the full spectrum from system integration to delivery of state-of-the-art naval platforms," a statement said.
