HINA - €1.87m project of renovation of Dubrovnik's Pile Park finished

DUBROVNIK, 24 March (Hina) – Pile Park beneath Dubrovnik’s city walls, covering 3,000 square metres, has been fully renovated and reconstructed as part of the “Green Infrastructure Network” project under the ITI mechanism.

The renovated park was visited by Mayor Mato Franković, who noted that the works cost €1,875,000.

The Pile Park redevelopment project includes 1,008 square metres of pedestrian paths, a children’s playground, and 707 square metres of green space, along with a new staircase with an amphitheatre, an area beneath the bridge, and a pumping station.

The “Green Infrastructure Network” project, worth €5.6 million, forms part of the ITI mechanism and the Integrated Territorial Programme 2021–2027, and also covers the renovation of Gradac and Platana parks.
