Italy's Laura Pirovano won the women's downhill race at Val di Fassa on Friday for the first World Cup victory of her career.
The triumph, which was also the 28-year-old's first podium finish, puts Pirovano in with a chance of winning the downhill discipline title.
With two races to go she has 336 points, putting her behind only Germany's Emma Aicher, who came second on Friday, on 386 points and American great Lindsey Vonn, who will not add to her 400 points following her dreadful crash and injury at Milano Cortina 2026.
American Breezy Johnson, who won gold at last month's Olympics, came third with Italian star Sofia Goggia coming 17th.
