ORAN – The Director General of the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency (AAPI), Omar Rekkache, presided Tuesday evening, in Oran, over a ceremony to grant four concession contracts to investors who benefited from industrial land to establish their projects.
The ceremony took place on the sidelines of a workshop on subcontracting, organized by the agency as part of Mechanica Algeria Fair, in the presence of the Director General of small and medium-sized enterprises in the Ministry of Industry, Abdelaziz Rebai, the Director General of Stellantis Algeria, the FIAT cars manufacturer, Raoui Badji, and the Regional Delegate of the Algerian Economic Renewal Council, Tazi Mohamed Amine.
Investors received these contracts through the digital investor platform launched by the Algerian Investment Promotion Agency to streamline access to commercial land.
The recipients include Hamoud Parts, which manufactures and assembles automotive components, accessories, and spare parts in Oran, Adi-Net Or, specializing in electronic equipment for industrial maintenance in Aïn Temouchent (two contracts), and Adi-net Géolocalisation, which produces solar and electrical energy equipment in the same province.
In a statement to the press, Rekkache reiterated the agency’s commitment to supporting project owners, notably small and medium-sized enterprises and startups.
He said that AAPI is working with several partners, including the Ministry of Industry, the Ministry of the Knowledge Economy, Startups, and Micro-Enterprises, as well as other State bodies, to increase the level of integration, and provide a suitable environment for these projects such as specialized industrial zones.
Meanwhile, six industrial partnership agreements were also signed on the sidelines of the fair, including five with Stellantis Group, while the sixth one was signed with two companies in the motorcycle spare parts sector.
