Mojca Prelesnik, director Mojca Prelesnik graduated from the Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana. After passing the bar exam and working as a lawyer for several years, she joined the Information Society Ministry in 2002-2005 before becoming a deputy information commissioner. In 2008 she was appointed secretary general of the National Assembly, a post she held until 2014, when she was elected information commissioner. She won a second five-year term in 2019. Prelesnik has participated in the drafting of key laws on freedom of information and protection of personal data. She is the author of many journal articles and co-author of works dealing with freedom of information, protection of privacy an protection of personal data. | ||
